In 1971 graduated from Azerbaidzhan Institute of Oil and Chemistry, Department of Geology, in 1975 - from day post-graduate cources of the Institute. Professor, Member-correspondent of Academy of Sciences (AS).
In 1971-1993 - worked in the Institute of oil deposits development.
In 1994-1996 - head of a subsidiary of the Swiss company Bomark dealing with refining and sale of mazuts.
Since 1994 - worked in an oil-research institute, dealt with scientific researches, prepared aspirants. Vice-president of Tumen oil company.
Since 1997 - head of geology and deposit development department.
