Born in 1944. In 1968 graduated from Moscow Gubkin Institute of oil and gas industry, profession - engineer-technologist. From the beginning of 1990s occupied the post of Ecogazmotor director deputy, Petroltrans general director deputy. Also occupied the post of Sibneft first vice-president. In September, 1997 was elected president of the company for five years, however left this post some time later.
