Graduated from Tumen Industrial Institute, profession - mining engineer and geo-physicist. Up to 1991 occupied the post of head of polar geo-physical expedition of RF State Committee on geology. Kandidate of geological-mineralogical sciences. One of the pioneers of Bovanenkovsk deposit of condensed gas. Awarded a medal ''For developing of oil&gas complex in West Siberia''. Married, has a daughter.
