In 1974 - graduated from the Azizbekov Azerbaidzhan Institute of oil and chemistry, qualification - geology and oil deposits survey.
Worked as an operator, engineer, head of the department, chief geologist.
Since 1992 - general director of 'Varieganneft' .
Married, has three children.
