In 1975 - graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute, post-graduate cources of the Institute. Master of Sciences.
In 1988 - established a company specializing in agricultural production.
In 1990 - established JSC 'International economic community'
In 1994 - elected deputy Chairman of the Russian Union of oil exporters.
In 1995 - established the International Fund 'Russian Cultural Initiative'
Received the Friendship Award.
Married, has a daughter.
