Biography
He was born in 1952 in the Samara region.
In 1974 he graduated from the Samara Politechnical Institute with the qualification
'engineer chemist-technologist'. Upon graduation he began working at the Novokuibishev oil refining plant as an operator, then hea of the unit, deputy head and head of the shop, deputy head of the central plant laboratory.
In 1987-1994 he was chief engineer deputy, then chief engineer of 'Kuibishevnefteorgsintez'.
In 1994 he was appointed vice-president of the oil company 'UKOS' on foreign-economic activity.
