Kazakhstani aerospace sector development, specifically launching small satellites, was the main subject of discussion at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Daniyal Akhmetov in Astana today.
Satellites will enable Kazakhstan to monitor the Earth's surface, the prime minister stressed in the context of a strategy to develop oil and gas deposits in the Caspian shelf and other environmental and scientific studies.
