Iran-Armenia Pipeline Coming into Focus

Armenian Energy Minister Armen Movsisyan announced that Iranian Oil Minister Bizhan Namdar-Zanganeh's will visit Yerevan in two months.

At a briefing in Yerevan today Movsisyan described it as "quite possible" that a final document on beginning the construction of the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline would be signed during Namdar-Zanganeh's visit.

Armenia and Iran have been in talks on the construction of the pipeline for more than 10 years.
