The concentration of petroleum products in the rivers of Russia's Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area running along oil company sites exceeds the maximum permissible level (MPL) hundreds of times.
This conclusion was made by experts of the Shpilman Scientific-Analytical Centre for the Rational Use of Natural Resources, who examined all major waterways of the region.
