World's Largest GM Showroom Opens

GM has announced the opening of its largest showroom in the Middle-East country of the United Arab Emirates.

Located in Sharjah, the complex is spread over an area of 400,000 square feet. The new showroom measures over 100,000 square feet and is designed like a boutique to show the full range of GM brands such as Cadillac, Chevrolet and Opel, with a capability of displaying more than 80 cars at a time.

In 2003, GM sold around 60,000 vehicles in the Middle East and is targeting sales of 75,000 for 2004.
