Southern Iraq Hit

Saboteurs hit an oil pipeline in southern Iraq yesterday. This was the first such attack since the ousting of Saddam Hussein.

There was an explosion and fire on the Kirkuk-Baghdad-Basra pipeline near Al Hare, reported agencies. The identity of the saboteurs was not known.
