Gorbachev Approves of Putin Decision

Speaking to journalists after Putin's decision to dismiss the current government, former USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev said the move was 'strong and logical .'

According to Gorbachev, a change in the government was necessary. 'I think (Putin's) decision was logical and correct because he is letting the electorate know exactly who he is going to work with before the presidential elections on March 14,' Gorbachev said.
