Further Sakhalin-2 Financing Near

At least $100 million in financing for the Sakhalin-2 project may be offered by the EBRD.

According to EBRD PR Officer Jeffrey Heidi, "it is possible to presume taking into account the scale of the project, that investments of the EBRD will exceed $100 million. In any case, prior to making of decision on participation we need to evaluate the environmental impact of the project and hold the necessary consultations."
