Remember 'Inter-Region' as Well

Azerbaijan has signed a contract with the Kazakh-Russian KazRosGaz joint venture and SOCAR (State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic), for the export of 4.5bn cu.m. of gas from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan in 2004.

According to a press release, KazRosGaz started exporting gas to Azerbaijan in January this year. Between January and February, Azerbaijan imported about 1bn cu.m. gas from Kazakhstan.
