Nuclear Fears Raised

Pakistan's most advanced missile, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead deep into India, was successfully tested yesterday.

Pakistan's neighbor and long-time foe India was informed in advance of the launch. However, the launch of the Shaheen 2 ballistic missile, with a range of 1,250 miles, was a vivid reminder of the risks remaining as the two countries try to cement a fragile peace.
