Iran Exercising 'Nuclear Rights'

According to Iranian Information Minister, Ali Yunesi, Iran will continue its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). However, it will not ignore its legal right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

In a statement, Yunesi said, 'America was trying to ratify a resolution which it desired. The original resolution was not ratified. In practice, a few changes were made and it was transformed into a statement. Of course, the issued statement was influenced by America'.

'The Islamic republic has decided to ignore the exorbitant demands made by America and non-American countries. We have accepted the (NPT additional) protocol and we are cooperating with the IAEA. We have decided to cooperate to the extent that our international responsibility and duty demand. America and Israel want to deprive us from our legal and national right'.
