Nuclear Plant Joint Venture Established

China Huaneng Group, China Nuclear Industry Construction Group and Tsinghua University have agreed to jointly develop a high-temperature gas-cooled nuclear power plant. The high-temperature gas-cooled nuclear reactor is one of a highly efficient new generation of reactors.

Tsinghua University built China's first 10-megawatt high-temperature gas-cooled reactor last year, making China as one of the five countries in the world that has mastered the technology.
