Joining the West

The Turkish Public Highway Administration has begun the construction of Turkey's first concrete highway.

Concrete highways have been used in the US and Europe for more than 100 years and
these types of highways are especially used in highways that were mostly used by
heavy trucks.

The transportation capacity of concrete highways is higher than the asphalt ones and 3 times more durable than the asphalt highways that are mostly dependent on petroleum products.
