World's Largest LNG Facility Opens
$2.3 billion facility has a capacity of 4.7 million tonnes a year....
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, officially inaugurated the country's third LNG train yesterday. The USD2.3bn facility will now send its first LNG consignment to India.
It has a capacity of 4.7m tonnes a year, making it the largest in the world.
