According to a Tehran Times report, Singapore is likely to invest in Iran's oil and petrochemical sectors if its companies ?win over Iranian Oil Ministry officials?.

The Singaporean delegation comprises representatives from nine oil, gas and petrochemical companies. The delegation is exploring opportunities for investment in Iran.

According to the report, Singaporean companies are willing to build oil terminals and refineries and lay subsea oil pipelines in Iran.

There is also hope that meetings with senior Iranian officials will lead to projects in Iran?s liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry.
