Kirkuk Oil Up for Grabs

SOMO, The Iraqi State Oil Marketing Organization, has issued its second tender in four weeks for the sale of Kirkuk crude from storage at the Ceyhan oil terminal in Turkey.

SOMO is offering 6 million barrels, or the same amount it tendered March 8, to be lifted in lots of 1 million or 2 million bbl between April 19 and 26. The closing date for bids is 17:00 GMTon April 15, with results to be announced 24 hours after the close of the tender.
