Qatar TV news service Al-Jazeera reported Monday that an official at a Russian company told that 11 of its Russian employees working in Baghdad were kidnapped.
11 employees of Russian energy company were kidnapped in Iraq during a clash in Baghdad that killed two Iraqi security guards.
The victims were removed in uncertain direction. No other details were immediately available. The claims of the kidnappers are also unknown.
The head of Iraqi diplomatic mission in Russia Isham al-Islam called for releasing Russian people immediately. He stated in his speech on Al Arabia channel, that Russia helped to revive the economics of the country and didn?t approve the war in Iraq.
