What Can Help Iran to Export Gas»

Iran lacks a comprehensive policy in negotiations with foreign companies to export its natural gas.
The successful deal with foreign countries will be impossible unless the country adopts a comprehensive and compatible policy in this regard.
Iranian Vice-President Mohsen Alizadeh said that at the moment foreign oil companies that are to import gas from Iran have to refer to Oil and Gas Company to refine it and in order to transit gas they have to refer to National Iranian Gas Company and to develop gas fields they must refer to National Iranian Oil Company.
Lacking an organization which institute all these activities is obvious and it has lead to prolonged negotiations without any efficient result, he said.
He added that Iran should establish an organization in charge of centralizing the measures that are to be taken to export gas.
He stressed that if such kind an organization is established, Iran will find a bigger way into foreign gas markets.
He said that since Iran is a gas-rich country, the role of Iran in supplying the region with gas would be very significant in future.
