US Don?t Want To Leave

Monday the United States and Britain asked U.N. to reassure a handover of power to an interim Iraqi government; however, U.S. wants to stay in Iraq.
This resolution is supposed to support the formation of a "sovereign interim government" that would come into force on June 30.

U.N. envoy Lakhdar Brahimi, who is now in Baghdad, is due to name a president, a prime minister, two vice presidents and 26 ministers soon, according to the transaction. They would stay in office until elections for a national assembly, expected to be held by January 2005.
