Iraq announced it expects to fully resume oil exports on Wednesday, Aug 11, after it shut one of two pipelines pumping to the country's southern terminal of Basra as a security precaution, an official of national oil firm South Oil Company said.
A larger 48-inch export pipeline was shut on Monday after it was attacked, but the damage was minor and the pipeline should be able to operate normally on Wednesday along with the smaller pipeline, the official told Reuters.
