Russia Will Invest In Asia
Russian major aluminum producer Russal, the world's fifth largest aluminum company, will invest in Indonesia and other Asian countries
Newly-appointed Russian ambassador to Indonesia Mikhail Belyi has admitted that the existing economic relations between Indonesia and Russia leave much to be desired, because these two countries need to form a strategic partnership and boost trade.
"The present total bilateral trade between the two countries is around 200 million US dollars. It's almost negligible, given the countries' economic potential. Just trading fertilizers, tea, palmoil and steel is not enough," he said in an interview with The Jakarta Post published Monday.
?We have to move further," he said.
