Russian President Vladimir Putin has affirmed that the sale of Yukos' main subsidiary Yuganskneftegaz to Baikal Finance Group complied with the law.
He said the company had a long history of operating in the Russian energy industry and it would eventually link up with another Russian energy company. Now it?s clear that he was talking about state-owned oil company Rosneft, which has acquired yesterday 100 per cent shares of Baikal Finance Group.
