Gold Mining In Yakutia To Redouble

The government of Yakutia, Russia, has approved the plan of the regional industry development for 2005.

According to the document, next year gold mining in the republic is expected to amount to 21100 kg, natural unsorted diamonds ? $2289.5 million. Cut diamond production is planned to reach the level of $301 million, with export being $274.7 million.
