OPEC To Cause Oil Price Up»

OPEC?s crude oil average prices rose by $1.18 to $36.90 per barrel last week, the OPEC authorities said Monday.

OPEC oil prices were rising five days in a row last week, from $35.67 per barrel on Monday to $39.35 on Friday, which is the highest OPEC oil price since Dec. 1, 2004. Experts say the OPEC production cutting will send prices higher.

OPEC members will meet in Vienna on Jan. 30 to discuss crude oil output policies in next phase. It's possible that OPEC will discuss the plan to cut daily output by 1.5 million barrels.
