Yukos Former Security Imprisoned For 20 Years

Today former head of Yukos? security department Alexei Pichugin, who was arrested in 2003 and charged with organizing a murder of a couple in 2002 and another attempted murder of former Khodorkovsky?s aide Olga Kostina in 1998, has been sentenced to the imprisonment for 20 years.

The Moscow court came to the conclusion on Wednesday, although the state prosecutor was calling for life imprisonment.

Pichugiin was officially pled guilty of those crimes on 24 March 2005.
