Iran, Ukraine Extend Energy Cooperation

The ministers of Iran and Ukraine discussed on Saturday the possibility of extension of economic cooperation particularly in the fields of oil, gas and agriculture.

Iran's Ambassador to Kiev Bahman Taherian Mobarakeh and the managing director of Rey Investment Company held a meeting with Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kinakh.

The managing director of Rey Investment Company pointed to the two countries' agreements on implementation of joint oil and gas projects in Iran and expressed his country's readiness to maintain cooperation with Ukraine.

The Ukrainian official stressed the need for strengthening of cooperation with Iran and welcomed measures adopted by Rey Company to this end.
