The price of OPEC basket of seven crudes stood at $50.61 a barrel on Friday, compared with $49.25 the previous day, according to OPEC Secretariat calculations.
OPEC basket of crudes comprises Algeria's Saharan Blend, Indonesia's Minas, Nigeria's Bonny Light, Saudi Arabia 's Arabian Light, Dubai of the United Arab Emirates , Venezuela 's Tia Juana, and Mexico 's Isthmus crude.
