Growing Economy Of India Needs Iran's LNG
Aiyar supposes that the deal will feed the rapidly growing economy with cleaner fuel
India's Oil Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar on Monday agreed to the $22 billion deal with Iran on the delivery of 5 million tonnes of LNG annually over a 25-year period from 2009.
Aiyar supposes that the deal will feed the rapidly growing economy with cleaner fuel, but policy makers should also look at conservation to save the nation's lungs.
