Russia Asked Lithuania, Netherlands For Help

The Russian Justice Ministry?s public relations department announced on Wednesday that the government addressed the Justice Ministries of Lithuania and the Netherlands with a request to identify assets that might belong to the bankrupt Yukos Oil Company; and to forbid registration of any deals with securities of the Mazeikiu Nafta oil refinery, which controlling stake is owned by the embattled oil company.

The officials of Russian Justice Ministry emphasized that their address to their Lithuanian and Dutch colleagues is based on international acts of legal help and legal relations, adding that the federal court plans to continue its work to uncover Yukos? foreign assets.
