12 Russian sailors, detained in Nigeria in October 2003
12 Russian sailors, detained in Nigeria in October 2003, were set free on bail by ruling of the Court of Nigeria last week.
The sailors, who were imprisoned on allegedly illegal carriage of crude oil, were liberated against security of the RF Embassy, leaving their passports to authorities of Nigeria.
The African Pride tanker with 11,000 tons of crude on board, was held back by police of Nigeria in October 2003.
