We Will See Who's Robbing

Venezuela?s President Hugo Chavez has accused foreign oil companies of "robbing" the country.

Thirty-two foreign oil companies - including Shell, Exxon Mobil, Repsol YPF, Chevron, BP and Total - are accused of owing $4 billion in back taxes for overproduction.

Last October Venezuela's government had already raised production royalties from 1% to 16.7%, the taxes on operating agreements from 32% to 50% in April, and declared end to contracted dollar payments to foreign oil field operators in May.
