Russia registered a 30 percent rise in foreign trade, of $142.8 billion in 2005, recent data from the Federal Customs Service showed.
Russia's foreign trade turnover rose 32.1 percent from the previous year to $339.8 billion in 2005, with exports totaling $241.3 billion and imports $98.5 billion.
Its trade surplus in 2004 stood at 106.1 billion dollars.
