Yukos Cant' Sell its Remaining Assets
The 10-day injunction, which the court granted in response to his request for bankruptcy protection
A bankruptcy supervisor at Russia's Yukos oil company said Friday he had won a temporary injunction from a New York court banning the company from selling its assets as it goes into bankruptcy hearings, The Associated Press reported.
The 10-day injunction was aimed at stopping Yukos managers from selling off a controlling stake in a Lithuanian oil refinery Mazeikiu Nafta. ?I am very glad,? Eduard Rebgun said. ?It helps me perform the requirements of the law.?
