The bank has offered Iraq $500m in loans
The World Bank is considering returning staff to Iraq, almost three years after it withdrew from the country, BBC reported.
World Bank president Paul Wolfowitz said they were deciding whether it was feasible to have personnel there.
In August 2003 the bank's staff was evacuated form Iraq after the UN's head office was bombed.
The bank has offered Iraq $500m in loans, its first support since 1973. The funds are assigned to help rebuild Iraq's shattered infrastructure.
