Under the program of denuclearization, North and South Korea, the United States, China, Japan and Russia have agreed to provide 1 million tons of heavy fuel oil to Pyongyang in exchange for its ''temporary suspension of the operation of its nuclear facilities,'' North Korea's official news agency reported Tuesday.
In a report from Beijing, the official Korean Central News Agency was citing a document titled ''Initial Actions for the Implementation of the Joint Statement'' issued Tuesday after the representatives from the six countries met at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.
