Ukraine Analyzing and Analyzing Russia's Gas Supply

The Ukrainian government is studying the gas supply agreements with Russia, and only after that and after some consultations, they will “come to a new level of negotiations”, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksander Turchynov said.

“We are analyzing the signed documents, analyzing the situation, including the energy market. I think, only after the analysis and preliminary consultations, we will be able to come to a new format of talks and decisions.”


He also stressed that the stance of the Ukrainian government is thattransparent schemes in the relations with other countries must be created. “We have to get rid of intermediaries, and to wipe out any shadow corridor forms of solving problems”, he said.
