TNK-BP chief Robert Dudley is certain that the conflict among the company's shareholders can be brought to an end in a matter of days, the CEO told journalists at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg today. Yesterday, the Russian-British joint venture's Executive Director Viktor Vekselberg also did not deny the possibility of resolving the situation around TNK-BP soon.
As reported earlier, differences between Russian and British shareholders pertain to the company's strategic development. Particularly, the Russian side believes that TNK-BP should enter foreign markets, even if that should result in competition with BP's business. Moreover, the parties have yet to reach an agreement on the balance of foreign and Russian specialists in TNK-BP.
