Russia’s money supply, excluding foreign deposits, grew from Rub 13,272.1 bln as of January 1, 2008 to Rub 13,724 bln as of June 1, 2008, the Bank of Russia said in an official statement.
National money supply includes ready cash in circulation outside banks and balances in the national currency held on settlement, current accounts and deposits of non-financial enterprises, businesses and individuals (Russian residents).
