GazpromBank Placed 300mln Eurobonds

Gazprombank has placed CHF300 millions worth of Eurobonds due in 2010. The notes have a coupon rate of 6.53%.

UBS Investment Bank and BNP Paribas SA were lead arrangers on the issue. Russian Commercial Bank is a joint lead arranger. Alexei Obozintsev, deputy head of the Board, noted that this was the 1st issue of Gazprombank denominated in CHF. The issue was a success which proves high level of investor confidence in Gazprombank. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes including increase of the bank’s loan portfolio.
