Mexico's oil giant Pemex evacuated 66 workers from an offshore platform in the northern Gulf of Mexico as a precaution ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Dolly.
Pemex has also taken measures to secure onshore facilities in the northern region that are vulnerable to flooding, high winds, and electrical storms that could result from the arrival of the storm, including parts of the onshore gas basin of Burgos and the Poza-Rica Altamira production area.
