China shares are expected to open higher after an extended rally on Wall Street, with sentiment also likely to be boosted by comment from the securities regulator on maintaining stability in the stock markets, dealers said.
However, they said that an over 4 usd rise in crude oil prices may pressure oil refiners and airlines, weighing down the market.
China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) chairman Shang Fulin said the regulatory agency will 'go all out' to maintain stock market stability in the second half of the year.
Shang gave no specifics but said the agency will 'encourage various long-term funds to enter the capital markets.'
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.63 pct, rising for a second day after an unexpected increase in private sector jobs.
