Onexim Group Bought 16.66% Norilck Nickel Stake

Russian Onexim Group has
finalized the consolidation of a 16.66% stake in Russian metals giant Norilsk Nickel
for its subsequent sale to companies affiliated with Russian businessman Vladimir Potanin as part of an offer made by Prokhorov.

"In accordance with the terms of the irrevocable offer, affiliates
of Vladimir Potanin are prepared to acquire said stake for $10 billion,
or $315 per share. The payment should be made in cash ($6.5 billion) and
with a 35.2% share package in Polyus Gold (RTS: PLZL) ($3.5 billion),
which currently belongs to affiliates of Vladimir Potanin," Onexim said
in a statement.

The transaction is to be closed before November 15, 2008.
