Unfair Accusations of Unilateral division of Arctic

Russian Foreign Ministry denied accusation of unilateral division of Arctic that came from abroad.

“This law doesn’t relate to defining external border of the RF continental shelf, the respective application for which, as it is well-known, has been considered by the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf since 2001. As President Dmitry Medvedev pointed out, legalizing this issue is an independent and vital task to be decided based on the current international legal procedures,” the RF Foreign Ministry commented Tuesday in response to attacks of certain western media.
