Construction began today on the Dzhubga-Lazarevskoye-Sochi gas pipeline in the Black Sea near Tuapse, Gazprom reported. The effort is being conducted with vessels including C-Master (which operates at mid-range depths) and Bigfoot 1 (operating in shallow depths). The marine section of the pipeline is to be completed by June 2010.
The Dzhubga-Lazarevskoye-Sochi gas pipeline is being built on schedule. So far, 11.8 kilometers has been built on land.
