Seven additional booster stations will be built along the first line of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (VSTO) pipeline, Oil and Gas Information Agency reports. For now a line segment is to be opened in their place and on April 1, specialists will be chosen to service them.
Four of the new stations will be built in Irkutsk Region, near Zheleznogorska-Ilimskoye, Chuna, Verkhnemarkovo and Mutino. Three boosters will be built in Yakutiya. According to Gazeta.ru, these additional stations are part of the project to enlarge the first line of the VSTO from 30 to 50 million tons annual capacity by 2013.
